The Queesnsland Government recently enacted new Laws to protect children from abuse and these Laws cover VOLUNTEERS who are involved in coaching, administration or who have regular contact with junior members of our club.
It is a requirement for any coaches to have this suitability or Blue Card as it is known and unless you have it, you will not be able to be involved with a junior Wanderers' team.
Below is a short check-list on who should or should not apply for this suitability card.
Ao the bottom of this page is a link that will take you to the form that needs to be filled out for your suitability check. Please note, that you will need to print the form, fill it in & hand it to the Secretary of Wanderers Cricket who must submit the form on your behalf. Ths checks could take 5 - 6 weeks to be completed so if you're going to need one, I suggest you get to work on it now. There is no cost to you if you are applying as a VOLUNTEER!
